Friends or foe, what are we?
what describes us best?
Cordial with each other, but are the emotions there?

What we had, is lost somewhere
can it be brought back?
What do i feel for you?
The affinity I had or the betrayal i felt

We shared the strongest bond
and people envied us secretly
A storm came along,
and shook the very foundation of our relationship

Trying were those days, which were spent shedding tears
The storm has passed, the skied have cleared
Withered and battered we still stand next to each other

Different supports lent us hand during the storm,
our eyes & hearts still seeking each other
the sorrow, grief and anger scarring our mind
yet we want to get back together, like our past

Our foundation was strong
and it took the test of time
we may find each other wrong every now & then
but our faith in each other
overshadows all

We built our friendship on trust, love and faith
and im sure it will take up any storm, there ever is created

I answer my own question now,
for we are friends
coz i shall think this way always
you shall be my bestest friend i can ever have

You will be the 1st one I seek
to share my joy & sorrow
near or far away
you have been & always will be
my best friend forever
