Numbness

I am so numb, I cant feel a thing
nothing hurts or bothers me now
maybe my emotions are just dead
and tears all dried up

Free falling through the sky
the wind just rushing past me
smile on my face, the cold tingling my skin
but me feeling nothing but numbness

My end was near, yet I was calm
and my life dint zoom past my eyes
nothing seemed to touch my soul
maybe it had already died & so I was numb

Suddenly everything was dark & quiet
all I could feel was a chill
creeping in me & calming me
but I was at peace now, peace with myself.
