Escape

What has this world come to?

I need to escape from here

Need some breathing space

A place for me to rest

People are selfish, mean & greedy

Its becoming hard to keep up

With the ever changing world

And to settle amongst everyone

I used to get along with one and all

Why does it suddenly seem so hard

Am I the one who’s no longer the same?

Or is really everyone behaving strange

God, gimme an answer, give it quick

Coz im running out of steam and

Just losing it

I still have a long way to go

Lemme know the art of figuring out

These people and their ways

Coz im ready to fight them

And get my way without having to escape!
