Why do people lie?
Or simply hide the truth
Is that different or same
Why do we have faith?
Or trust someone we just met
Isn’t there a risk in that all
Why does someone seem so nice?
& charms his way into your life
Aren’t you just getting used by them?
Why do you care so much?
And shower someone with affection
When all you get are a box of lies
Why do people wear a mask?
And hide their real identity
Aren’t you being a fool believing them?
Why do you lie to me?
When the truth is so easy to say
Are you not just breaking my faith?
